Real strategy is falsifiable. It makes claims you can test: “Enterprise buyers prioritize integration capabilities over ease of use.” “Our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) converts better from self-serve than sales-assisted.” “Moving up-market requires different positioning, not just bigger deals.”

If you can’t design an experiment to test whether your strategy is working, you don’t have strategy, you have hope with a roadmap attached.
